✿Drink a lot of water!!!!! ✿Eat a meal at least 1 to 2 hours before your appointment ✿Lotion the area everyday for a week leading up to appointment. Exfoliate the area every other day for a week leading up to the appointment. Do no exfoliate day before or day of appointment. Dry skin can make it difficult to tattoo! Moisturized skin leads to better results! AVOID: ✿Alcohol for 24 hours prior to tattoo! •If you come in hungover or drunk your appointment will need to be rescheduled and you will be charged a $100 non-refundable/non=transferable reschedule fee. ✿Sun! •I cannot tattoo over sunburn, rashes, open wounds, eczema, or other skin conditions. •If you come in with any of these on the area that will be getting tattooed your appointment will need to be rescheduled and you will be charged a $100 non-refundable/non-transferable reschedule fee. •If you come in with any of these skin conditions and the tattoo is able to be placed somewhere without any of these skin conditions then we will still be able to have your appointment and we will not need to reschedule.

•I DO NOT send designs ahead of time, unless asked to. If you would like a design sent before the appointment I will send it within 48 hours of the appointment. I do a consultation either in person or over the phone to make sure we go over everything. Please be as specific as possible during the consultation. During the consultation we will go over all the details of the tattoo and at the consultation I can show you a really rough sketch of what ideas we went over. I can make minor changes, but I cannot make major ones 48 hours before the appointment. If major changes need to be made we might need to reschedule on a case to case basis. If you wait to let me know that you want major changes made within 48 hours before appointment there will be a $100 non-refundable reschedule fee. •If you do not bring a valid government ID you will need to reschedule and will be charged a $100 non-refundable/non-transferable reschedule fee. •Do not come in sick, drunk, or hungover. It will count as a no call, no show and result in a $100 non-refundable/non-transferable reschedule fee! •Do not come in with sunburn on the area to be tattooed. I can not tattoo over sunburn. If we cannot place the design elsewhere it will count as a no call, no show and result in a $100 non-refundable/non transferable reschedule fee. ***There is no reschedule fee and your deposit will be valid in the case of emergency weather such as snow!!!!! No one should risk their lives for a tattoo!!!! We can reschedule at the earliest time possible and your deposit will still be valid!!!! If emergency weather is in the forecast for the day of your appointment I will reach out via email to discuss our options.***

✿I have nipple covers if needed.STEPS FOR SANIDERM OR DERM SHIELD AFTERCARE: 1. I will apply Saniderm/Derm Shield 2. You will leave it on for 2 to 3 days 3. You will take it off preferably in the shower to reduce irritation 4. Wash gently with unscented soap 5. Wait about 5 minutes to apply the ointment I gave you 6. Apply a small pea size to the tattoo 3 to 4 times a day for the next 2 to 3 week or whenever the tattoo is completely healed. ✿IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO SANIDERM/DERMSHIELD: 1. I will send you home with Saran Wrap around your tattoo 2. When you get home wash your hands! 3. Wash tattoo with antibacterial soap 4. Apply a pea size amount of the ointment I gave you 5. Repeat these steps 2 times a day for 2 to 3 days 6. After 2 to 3 days continue to apply a pea size amount of the ointment I gave you or unscented lotion to the tattoo for the next 3 weeks or until fully healed ✿Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo ✿Avoid tight clothing over your tattoo ✿Do not soak/submerge your tattoo in water -NO lakes, pools, hot tubs, ocean/beach, or baths for 2 to 4 weeks after tattoo appointment ✿Do not expose your new tattoo to direct sunlight -Wear clothes that protect the tattoo from the sunlight and once it is healed use a high SPF to protect your tattoo from sun damage ✿Avoid intense physical activity or excess sweating for 2 weeks ✿Once it is fully healed keep the tattoo moisturized! You want to moisturize your skin with or without tattoos, but it will keep your tattoos looking fresh! ✿You may use an ice pack to reduce inflammation -If it is still wrapped in Saniderm/Derm Sheild you can put an ice pack over that -If the tattoo is not wrapped please wrap the ice pack with Saran Wrap and afterwards wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap *AFTERCARE IS A VERY IMPORTANT PART IN HAVING YOUR TATTOO HEAL NICELY SO PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BEST RESULTS!!!*

No one wants to be in pain for hours on end and being in pain makes the session hard on both you and I. *Numbing cream can affect the tattoo by causing it to heal poorly *Numbing cream increases infection risk *Numbing cream and numbing spray will not take the pain away completely and for some people it does not work at all! *Numbing cream typically lasts a 2 to 3 hours if it works at all! *Numbing spray gives maybe 30 to 45 minutes of some relief! *Numbing cream and numbing spray are a tool to help manage the pain, but it will not take the pain away fully! *If you decide to use numbing cream I am not liable for any reaction you have before, during, or after the tattoo

✿Touch ups are free within 6 months after appointment! ✿Wait for about 4 weeks after the tattoo to see if it needs a touch up. ✿If you feel it needs a touchup please contact by email elegantlyinking@gmail.com and attach pictures so I can see what needs to be touched up and schedule from there.

✿I schedule appointments that work for both my clients and I.
